Jenna flew over the city her wings ached from the distance she had flown but she had wanted to put as much distance from the school as she could since Horu's had seemingly disappeared. That was the one thing that made her feel like she needed space she could feel him still against her, she dreamed of him every night and each time she closed her eyes which was rare now she wanted to find him.

Seeing a park she landed in a ring of bushes her wings folded behind her as she walked forcefully down the path. she saw two men who watched her walking and she scowled " take a picture bub, it will last longer" she said and as one walked over she balled her fist and waited as the man walked around her pulling roughly on her wings. " Don't touch what you can't afford mate." he pulled it back and made her yell out turning she clocked him on his jaw. " I told you not to do that." She said.

His mate moved to grab her and she kicked him in his balls sending him to the floor yet she felt her anger growing and she hit him even though his mate pulled her back and punched her. Turning she whipped her wings out catching him and sending him flying across to land in a heap in a bush his mate curled up on the ground.

Horus wasn't exactly thrilled to be in familiar territory, having long since left the X-men mansion after the rescue to do something solo for now. But coming to the realm of his former 'master',or one of them, left a bitter taste in his mouth. Many times he had come here and seen too much death from those who were passing through as prisoners or brought to the Breeding Pins to be used as experiments.

Shaking off the thoughts however Horus continued his flight, having flown over half of the East Coast of once was the United States. But it did little to help in his mission to discover anything else that could prove useful, and already he had a deep gash running over his left shoulder. It had come from his crash landing when one of the Sentinal guards at the Vault had smacked him away with little effort and he had it wrapped up in bandages still. For the most part it stung more now then anything, the worse of the pain having finally passed a day or two ago.

Though as he was flying over the city the sound of a fight caught his attention, turning his gaze towards where he could see pained auras of two men and another angered one of a woman. "Hm, certainly someone isn't happy."He muttered as he turned in the air and angled himself the last corner to where he could see more clearly. The woman was no one other then his current girlfriend Jenna, but to see her this angered was a surprise to him compared to her smiling face. Though why was she in this part of the world anyway? Perhaps on a mission too?

"Jenna!"He finally called out and dove down, flaring his wings at the last moment before he landed behind her and folded in his wings."Jenna calm down, what's going on?"He asked her, glancing at the men who seemed to be recovering and ignoring the fact of how vulnerable he had made himself.

Jenna stood her hands curled into fist, she heard a third voice from above her and on turning she saw it was Horus. Her body went soft as if her anger on sight of him disappeared. she walked over to him and her hands cupped his face, she kissed him deeply and longingly and with out a single word spoken. Once she felt her anger calmed she stepped back and looked at the two men who lay on the floor.

"We should go, I'll explain when we're some place safe." she said softly as she opened her wings wide, turning she knew he would see the sword on her back and the two hand guns strapped to each thigh.

She paused and looked at him her heart belonged to him. "I thought you left me, when you disappeared from the mansion nobody would tell me where you'd gone, so I left. " she said and looked at him over her shoulder. Folding her wings back against her back and turned to face him.

"I lost everything Horus, I couldn't cope and... I had to leave, they knew that you were the only thing keeping me sane, when they made you go on your mission they knew...they just knew I would change, which way even I didn't know." she closed her eyes and sighed deeply." I came looking for you, to find you , you...you are my sanity the one thing that makes sense to me, without you...I...I am not me" she hung her head low waiting to hear his words.

Horus kissed Jenna in return, relieved to see most of her anger disappear when she had spotted him and gradually go down after the kiss. But at the same time it still made him feel guilty since it'd been his fault for no one fully knowing of why he had left on his own. He knew at the time most everyone who had gone on the rescue had been resting and he hadn't want to put Jenna in danger when he could have been captured at any time.

"Jenna I would never leave you, not like that."Horus assured her as he gently cupped her face in his hands, seeing that she wasn't taking off just yet."No one was fully aware of why I came out here, it was a solo mission I took up and I suppose no one knew what to tell you. Unless there was another reason for it."He told her honestly and pulled her into a hug.

"Now let us fly,I'd be more then honored if you joined me since I thought you would be resting."He told her as he released her from his embrace and spread his long bat-like wings and took flight. But he only went so far before hovering, waiting for Jenna to catch up.

Jenna listened to him then looked at him her long coat pulled tight around her to keep out of the cool wind. She gave a soft smile as she watched him take to the air. Spreading out her wings she ran and took off flying close to him. "There was, they didn't want us upset." she said and looked at him, her cheeks now slightly flushed as she flew close to him. "But it didn't work, we took off to find you." She flew to an abandoned wear house out side of the city and landed on its flat roof, a small room inside was set up with a single bed and a laptop computer.

Moving she slipped off her coat and placed it on the bed still with her back to him as she tapped something into the laptop. After a moment she stopped and lent heavily on the desk before looking at him. " there's activity at the docks, I have a feeling there importing mutants for experimentation again."She said and picked up a small vile of blue liquid, taking a sip she sighed and slowly turned to face him. Wondering if he would notice why she had left the mansion to find him. not that he could not notice the rather large bump she had.

Jenna moved to sit on the bed and looked at him, her shoulders sagged slightly. "Well now you know why we left." she told him " I found out two weeks after you left."

Horus flew close to Jenna, nodding slightly as he knew she would be worried but he hadn't expected to take this long. Quite honestly he had lost track of the days,having been there to try and discover some things for the X-men and for his own personal means. He continued to fly with Jenna until they reached the ware house and he landed, following her inside. Giving the room a quick look around Horus could guess Jenna had been there for some time and it was no surprise.

"Jenna they aren't just mutants they're rounding up, but also stray humans who are unfortunate in being captured. Most mutants go to the Breeding Pins, which there are a few in this realm of Apocalypse."He told her as he then turned towards Jenna, shifting his wings slightly as he came over and sat beside her on the bed, resting a hand on her shoulder. Though he took notice of her stomach having a slight bump to it which surprise him."It's not the worse part yet until they are actually sent there."

But he then really thought about the 'we' she kept saying and it finally was clear what she meant."Jenna how far along are you?"He asked her softly, gently moving his hand from her shoulder to her belly having a curious look in his expression but also concern.

Jenna looked at him and listened and nodded " yes, that was confusing me , why humans was apocalypse trying to make the ultimate warrior?" she said standing as he paced back and forth in front of him as she thought. She sat down again and felt him touch her stomach and she closed her eyes feeling him. This was something she had dreamed about.

"Nearly eight months now" she said placing her hand on his " the vile is an antacid to settle my stomach for when he moves." she looked at Horus, " I found out its a boy" she told him but stopped moving his hand she let him feel the small foot that now pushed out from inside her. " he wants out, he does this a lot so I don't think I will go term, I keep Beast updated on the laptop and he feels the same" she looked at Horus " If apocalypse found out about us, he would come after me to get to your son" she said " I left because I needed to find you and show you but also so that those in the mansion would not be at risk, beast understood." Jenna lent against him and sighed deeply.

His son...It made Horus both proud, worried, and saddened all at the same time as he hugged Jenna close to his chest. He was proud because it was with someone he loved and for once he had a chance to have a true family. Yet his worry was for both Jenna and the unborn child being targeted due to his desertion some time ago and sadness because the child would be in a chaotic world. But Horus was determined for his son to know who his father and mother were instead of going his whole life without them.

"Jenna we'll need to be careful still, if the child is close to coming he could be at risk here and so can you."He told her, showing his concern and protectiveness over both of them. "As for why he gathers humans it's because he turns them into the Infinites who are the police around here and as guards, sometimes machines aren't enough."Horus added to her question but he seemed uncertain now of helping the group when they were at risk too.

Jenna looked at him and felt his concern for them both and she took his hand " Horus we can take care of ourselves we have this long " she said moving to kiss his cheek " as for Apocalypse, let him try he'll have the hormonal wrath of a mother down on him" she said and patted her guns.

Listening to him talk about the humans and mutants she thought long and hard " maybe we should put a dent in his plans and release them before they get to his warehouses, the ships that bring the over seas dock at pier 3 every four hours the next shipment is due in an hour" she told him and showed him the images she had from a camera she'd rigged up on a building. " that's the entrance to the holding pens there moved from the containers threw a system of cages" she looked at him and smiled.

Horus looked at her and gave a slight smile, though he still held concern for them none the less. For the time being he would only keep an eye on Jenna just in case, and if something were to happen. "They always check to make sure the prisoners are worth it to even keep, others they will kill immediately if not proving to be worthy enough."He told her as he stood and came to the window.

There were many steps to take with the prisoners and though they had a next shipment coming there were others they could attempt to save. Least they could try."That recent one that came, their group might still be here and we could help them escape Jenna."He told her before turning and looking at his girlfriend."Think your up to a saving task? Maybe even a little raid?"He asked her.

Jenna stood up and walked over to him holding him from behind as she spoke softly to him. " always up for that " she said " if it hurts Apocalypse then I'm up for it" she moved to face him and smiled at him " its good to see you again my love" her words soft and her eyes now filled with love and life , something she had not had lost when he left.

Jenna rubbed her tummy and smiled " I had to get new tops each time I wore one my tummy had grown and they didn't fit" she moved her top and showed him a red mark shaped like a dragon across her tummy.

Horus chuckled slightly at that,"Well it happens sometimes."He told her as he looked at her stomach, surprised to see the dragon mark, wondering what it meant. "But seeing you both safe and sound is always something that'll brighten my day Jenna, even in an area like this."He told her with a soft smile.

Though he sighed, knowing now they had something that had to be done."Shall we go do what heroes do then my dear?"He asked her.

Jenna nodded and smiled walking over to the bed she picked up her coat and slipped it on also pulling down her top to cover her tummy. " lets free some people" she said and spread out her wings as she slid her guns from their holsters. " hum, the silent approach?" she asked " or the full on blazing guns?" she hoped the quiet approach as they could get further in before discovery.

Jenna moved to Horus and kissed him " its good to be back with you" she said moving out onto the flat roof to spread out her wings her mind happy as was the child she carried as she felt him turn inside her as she took off next to Horus.

"How about the silent approach, besides I don't have guns."Horus said smiling as he followed Jenna out to the roof and spread his wings. With a few powerful flaps he was into the sky and heading towards the docks which she had indicated, knowing some of these parts fairly well from a few years back. But deep down he also dreaded the thought of going near Apocalypse's forces when he was still wanted and had been one of the successful experiments belonging to Sinister.

As he flew high enough to avoid being spotted he watched with dismay as trucks were already being loaded."We have to work fast Jenna, they're already loading the group. ANd my guess is only a few this time were unlucky."He told her as he focused on his aura abilities and let it surround him revealing the copper coloration that was his own.

Jenna nodded and dropped down taking out her guns as she readied herself for a fight . then she heard him say quiet approach and slipped away her guns and take out her sword. finding a spot away from the trucks and people she landed folding her wings tight against her back she as she moved to a door. testing it she found it open and she looked at him as she slipped inside crouched she could hear the cries of the people left inside.

" there I see the pens" she said and moved towards them suddenly she heard foot steps and pulled Horus into an empty room. he left the door a crack as she saw two guards pass by the door once passed she slipped out and carried down the hallway.
