Johnny had been merely flying past, on his way to head back to Apocalypse's quarters as he noticed a lot of the abandon buildings that were further in the city. This place, he used to know as home was now pretty much turned into rubble. The area around it was nothing more than piles of buildings that had been slashed aside like they were nothing. He couldn't even pinpoint where the Baxter Building was anymore in the wreckage. However one place he did find in the wreckage did make him come down and descend. It was once where the Avengers had stood in order to make their last stand with Apocalypse.
But from what he had said it had not apparently gone well. The Avengers had been attacked first while they had been split up, one part going on with the SHIELD hellicarrier and the others remained to defend the mansion back at home. And the reminents of the mansion where still there, as the only thing to identify that it was indeed the Avengers mansion was a fading capital A in the pile. "So some of the greatest heros fell here. What will happen to those that are still left? Will Apocalypse whipe them out? Or will they continue to live on?" He asked himself merely thinking out loud. He didn't even seem to notice if anyone had been following him. Since who else had flaming powers like him and stuck out obviously in the night sky.
