Player Name:summer
Name:Hikaru Harukaze Xavier
Age:17
Gender:female
Species:mutant
Affiliation: X-Men, always
Apperance:Hikaru's skin is a light olive tone, but has taken on an unhealthy palour. Her eyes, once a bright sky blue, are now dulled and dark. Even her hair shows that she has fallen victim of Apocalypse, long faded from it's normal chestnut sheen. Her slender form is even more so than normal, and her bones are visible in places. She is tall, at 5'6". Her face has gone pale. All in all, she looks like a prisoner who's been held for a long time. Her hair falls to her shoulders, while Hikari's falls to the middle of her back.
Personality:Hikaru is, in general, a very reserved person. She prefers to keep to herself or her sister, rather than confiding in anyone else. She will speak of her past, but only the portion of her life before the destruction of her home. She will not talk about her time in the Vault, only saying that it is something she never wants to go through again.
With time, Hikaru will return to the person she was; cheerful, friendly, and loving. Her true personality is a much kinder, more open girl. A truly loyal girl who is willing to trust others. She worries a lot about her younger brother Takeo, and how he's living with his powers. Hikaru will do anything to defend her sister, just as her sister would for her. She is normally very athletic, more likely than her sister to do a few laps just because.
Equipment:The silver pendant/earring set the Professor gave her mother.
Powers:
Skills:She is a master in martial arts, but not with the weapons. She is bilingual, though Japanese has little use now.
Weakness:Hikaru is unable to trust others easily after what she has gone through. Her telepathic/telekinetic powers could easily strain her mind, leaving her with a headache or possibly passed out.
Family:Twin sister Hikari(also held prisoner)
Amaterasu Harukaze(believed deceased, truth unknown)
Charles Xavier(father, deceased)
Takeo(little brother, 12, location unknown)
Hisako Harukaze(maternal grandmother, deceased)
Ichiou Sanata(stepfather, believed deceased, truth unknown)
History:Amaterasu was studying the X-gene in a lab in Tokyo when she met the Professor. Tera herself was also a mutant, which was what drew the Professor to her lab in the first place. She was one of many scientists studying mutant genetics. She allowed the Professor to join in her research, and together they found many interesting things. Most of which were lost with Japan five years ago. They spent two years studying together, and the two inevitably fell for each other. Amaterasu's mutation was simple. She was an Empath; she had the ability to read the emotions of others, as well as influencing them slightly. After two years of researching, Tera and Xavier left Tokyo for the island of Hokkaid, where they spent another two years. The Professor left for America after that, but he left Amaterasu with much more than just the pair of pendant/earring sets.
Nine months later, Amaterasu gave birth to twin baby girls, and the resemblance between the girls and the Professor was obvious already. She had the doctor put his name on the birth certificate, but told them that she didn't know if he was reachable. She called her mother, who happened to be in town at that time, and had her take Amaterasu and the twins home.
The girls lived a relatively normal life for a while. Then, two years after they were born, Ichiou came into Amaterasu's life. She began falling for him, and they were married after the girls turned three. When they were four, Takeo was born.
It wasn't until five years later that Amaterasu began watching the twins for any signs of mutations. With both of their parents having some sort of powers, it was highly likely that they would have some sort of power. By this time, there was some suspiscion going around that something wasn't right with the world. Amaterasu decided that she wanted to move to America, and so the five of them left Japan.
Later that same year, Hikari started taking martial arts lessons at a dojo near their new home. It took her a year to advance to the point where she was allowed to do weapons drills, and she surprised everyone with how quickly she picked up the paterns for each weapon. This was Amaterasu's first clue that the twins had powers. She asked one of the neighbors if they could teach Hikari archery, which the girl picked up very quickly. That confirmed it. Hikari could master any non-mechanical weapon much faster than anyone would expect. Faster even than some of the more athletic people in the class.
Around the same time, Hikaru began hearing things that she knew she shouldn't be hearing. She would be sitting in class, taking a test, and hear what sounded like someone working out the answer to a problem. After a month, she realized that she was a telepath. She could hear other people's thoughts. She experimented with moving objects around, and found out that she was also a telekinetic.
A year after they moved to Dallas, Hikari began showing signs of other powers. Her hands would glow blue at random intervals, and when they did, Hikari always felt tired after. One day, a group of high school students jumped her, making fun of the way she talked, and how she used chopsticks, and other things. They were seniors from the local high school, and they'd gotten drunk at a party. They attempted to get Hikari do comply with what they wanted, but Hikari reacted instinctively and punched at one of them. She missed, but a beam of blue light flew from her hand, striking the boy in the stomach and sending him flying. The boys left her alone, but they kept calling her Mutie as they ran. Hikari ran home and told her mother what happened. That was when Amaterasu explained to the twins that she was also a mutant, but not as strong as Hikari. She explained about their father, Charles Xavier, and how he was a telepath. That was when Hikaru confessed to also being a telepath.
Three months after that, Hikaru dozed off and found herself somewhere without remembering how she got there. She woke up, realizing that it must've been a dream. Until her mother came out of the master bedroom with a strange look on her face. Once they figured it out, they realized that Hikaru could also travel into the dreams of other people.
Six months later, Amaterasu and Ichiou had to return to Japan for work. They didn't plan on staying more than two weeks, but that was enough. Japan was bombed, and Tokyo was leveled. When Amaterasu and Ichiou didn't come back after two months, the kids began to accept the deaths of their parents. That was too much for Takeo, who's powers manifested as shapeshifting abilities. It took Hikaru's telepathy to calm the boy down.
They passed the next two years of their life hiding their powers, so they could remain together. Then the twins decided to go look for their biological father. They went to Bayville, or what was left of it. They found the ruins of the Xavier Institute, and decided to do some poking around. Once they got to the basement, they found some surprising things.
In the control room for the Danger Room, Hikari found some papers that detailed how to set up all the effects. In the Med Labs, Hikaru found some video journals by a mutant named Hank McCoy, from the time before Apocalypse. It was what they found in the War Room, however, that led to their capture.
They found a letter, writen by the Professor himself. It stated specific places around the War Room where information was hidden that could help defeat Apocalypse. One of them supposedly detailed his past, while another showed possible weaknesses. Each piece of information was on a flash drive. On the last one was supposed to be a list of X-Men, old and new(ish), and where they could be found. At the end of the letter was a name: Erik. Followed by one more. Magneto. This was the man they had to find.
When they returned to the surface, they found members of Apocalypse's army waiting for them. They tried to run, but didn't get very far. They were knocked unconscious, and then taken to the Vault, where they have been for the three years since that day.

Sierra just couldn't take what he was saying. She had already explained herself. She wasn't a child any more, and he knew it. He just couldn't accept the fact that she wasn't a kid.
"I'm not thirteen any more," she said. "I'm a grown woman dad." She had gotten home late the night before. She was studying to be a music teacher and was in the university's Symphonic band. As she wasn't a freshman, she wasn't required to live on campus. Her parents lived about thirty minutes from the university, so she had chosen to stay with them. After asking them, of course. Living with her parents saved money on living costs, as well as meal plans. She ate breakfast at her parents' house, so she had bought a less expensive dining plan.
"You're still my daughter," her father replied. "You're living under my roof."
Sierra sighed. "Dad, I had to stay late to practice with the band," she repeated for what felt like the hundredth time. "Then traffic was a disaster trying to get off-campus. You know I drive slower at night. It took forty-five minutes to get here, not to mention the near hour trying to get to the main campus gate." There were so many students who lived off campus, and only one gate open so late at night. "I tried to get home sooner, but I can't make traffic go faster."
Her father sighed, then looked at the clock on the wall. "Let's talk about this in the morning," he suggested. "We'll all think more clearly after a good night's rest." Sierra smiled slightly, knowing that her dad was just worried about her.
"Night daddy," she said softly, putting a quick kiss on his cheek as she walked past him to her room.

Equipment:The silver pendant/earring set the Professor gave her mother.
Powers:
- telepathy: Hikaru is like her father in the mutation area. She is an incredibly powerful telepath, but her full powers haven't been realized.
- telekinetic: Along with her telepathy, Hikaru is a telekinetic. Her telepathic powers are stronger than her telekinetic ones, but at this point there's little difference in the power levels. Her telekinetic abilities are also strong, but not outside the expected margins.
- dreamwalking: Hikaru can visit people in their dreams. This covers a much greater distance than using her normal telepathic powers, as it also puts Hikaru into a state of semi-consciousness in order for it to work. It is similar to projecting one's spirit, but it is her mind that is projected into another's dreams.
