The Mentor's Legacy(Open)

James moved through the streets sighing slightly as he did it was hard tracking down the Former Avenger members as the only thing he had to use was a few old Files Tony had left on his computer about them and what ever Jarvis could tell him and that was much as Jarvis was currently linked to the Iron man Armor which was currently on his back in the form of a back pack. He grined that was one of his greatest inventions a Portable Armor Deploment device that was keyed to him so that he didn't have to worry about being unarmed. James approced the signel that he was tracking with Jarvis's help he had followed it to an old wearhouse and he had to admit he prayed that this wasn't a trap or just a waste of time he could be thinking up new weapons to use against Apocalypse.

James shook his Negative thoughts out of his head as he opened the door and walked inside being carefull to keep an eyeout of the area around him and also ready to deploy his armor incase he needed it.

[Clinton Barton]

"Give it up human your time is over." A voice called out as Clinton was held up in a net that was keeping him from getting his bow and an arrow out of his case. He had recently gotten a new batch of arrows after working on them. The awkwardness of how he had been caught with one arm in front of him, and the other one in his bottom. And he was sure he'd loose the sense in that one if he didn't do something soon. "Yeah I'd like to see that happen. I've been running for years now and I've gotten this far. I might be able to escape death again." Clint said as he looked down noticing something flash away.

He recalled that it was his old Avenger's Identicard in order to see if the others were indistress was ringing like mad. Was another Avenger nearby? Or was someone trying to trick him. If no one was coming he hadn't really come up with a way out of this mess as the three robots began to group up on him. He was at least lucky that they weren't Sentinels. Of course, Sentinels weren't always after him and he wasn't a mutant so they wouldn't track him down in the first place.

"Okay maybe I am in a little bit of trouble." Clint said as he noticed that one started to form a blade out of its hand.

James could hear voices and pressed his back against a wall to peak around the edge he could see some Bots had managed to capture some one and from the look of things the guy in the net was who the signal was comeing from and it took James a second to put a name to the Face. James's grined slightly 'Clinton Barton aka Hawkeye at least this isn't going to be a complet waste of my day' James nodded before steping away from the walk and the backpack began it's work as the Red and Gold armor covered his body locking into place and once it was done the Visor closed over his face bringing all of it's systems on line and he took off useing the Repulser Boots comeing around the corner like a shot and fireing a Repulser blast into the back of the bot with the blade. James hovered in the room for a bit Jarvis locking onto the threats in the room and with a quick flash of his wirst he fired another beam freeing Clint from the net before he turned on the extior speakers.

James hovered as he spoke "Alright Let Hawkeye go and back away and I won't be forced to turn you into Scrap just like your buddy here" James said this the Repulers in his hand's glowing ready to start fireing at the Bots when they made their moves

"Uh you realize it's still three against one? I'm still in the net." Clint said seeing that someone had arrived onto his aid. But he looked like he had something similar to Tony's armor. And Tony was supposed to be dead. Unless this was some sort of trick? He knew the other avengers like the Hulk or even Captain wouldn't be amused at this sort of trick if it was on. "And who are you supposed to be? Tony Stark? I think if you read the latest news that he is dead." Clint asked as he watched the others as the robots seemed to refuse to listen to James as he spoke.

"Negative human. You will be destroyed with him." The robot said again as they began to take one wide swipe at James. Clint on the other hand closed his eyes, expecting this Tony wanna be to be chopped into pieces all because of him. Wait a minute...a knife! That idea got him thinking, maybe he and this guy could cut him free with the robot's weapons. Of course there was a risk of being injured in the process, it would be well worth it on getting free.

James Mental shook his head and quickly brought the the Armors arms up catching the Robot by the Wirst stoping it's blow from reaching him before tossing it towards the net that Clint was in. As the Robot passed Clint it's Blade cut threw the top of the New thus allowing Clint to escape as James spoke. "No not Tony though he did teach me everything that I know i'm the New Iron man ready to pick up where he left off" as James was talking the other Robot made it's move towards James aiming to take him out of the fight. Jarvis quickly cut in "Warning Incomeing Attack from behind Recomend avoiding sir"

James didn't need to Obvious A.I to tell him twice and he quickly kicked the Repulers in leaping over the Robot fireing a Repuler blast from both hands turning the Robot to slag as he turned towards Clint landing in front of the man.

"I guess....It's just not the same without him. The others may agree with that idea also." Clint said but he knew that there were more things to worry about at this point as he moved the other parts of the net out of his way. Then took out his arrow and one of the exploding arrows that he would aim at one of the robots. "But I do owe you a thanks for saving my butt earlier. My avengers card was flashing like mad and I should have listened to it. It's been silent for some time." He said as he let go of the arrow.

The arrow went flying straight for the second robot that James left open and exploded causing a loud cloud of smoke around it. Though the robot had lost all sense of direction, it still had radar, but how well was the radar under a clouded atmosphere? He wasn't about to find out the hard way as he got out a second arrow that would do the same attack as earlier as he waited for them to move and as well as James.

James couldn't help but nod at Clints words it was true things weren't the same with out his Mentor and friend and he missed Tony and not just because that meant he had less work to do and more time to make things. But because he had lost the man who had taken a shot on the little Orphan boy who won the science fair James shook his head turning towards the last robot and quickly was able to scan through the Smoke with Jarvis locking onto the robot and he once again raised his right hand. Once his hand was pointed at the Robot their was the Fimilar buzzing sound of energy gather before the Repulser blast struck the Robot dead on in the face followed by a second one to the chest to end the battle before he lowered his hand and turned to face Clinton.

James nodded in the armor "Ya I was useing Jarvis to track down the Avenger cards trying to find out who was left of the Team Tony told me that this would probaly be the best choice to gather fighters to resist Apocalypse and I have to admit he was probaly right" James turned towards Clint letting the Visor on his Helemt open so Clint could see his face as he faced the Archer. "I'm James Templer by the way or Iron Man since i'm the guy who helped Tony build the Mark Seven so he told me to take the name.

"Well I guess I don't have to give you an introduction on who I am. You already know it." Clinton said with a soft nod in return as James spoke about himself. "You do kinda have an ego like him always talking about his inventions. I just hope you don't rambling on your new discoveries and inventions." He said with more of a joking tone like he would with Tony. He knew he owed Tony a lot of things like designing a training area just for him and of course accepting him onto the team after having a criminal life.

"And the only information I can give you right now is that the Captain is still out there. I think he'd be happy to join t he avengers. And I think he's looking for something to do too. He's not exactly one to sit around and do nothing." Clint said as he still had his arrow out incase the robots suddenly decided to pull another sneak attack like they had on him earlier when he wasn't aware of them being nearby.

James nodded makeing sure to keep Jarvis focused on scaning the area the last thing he wanted was for the two of them to wind up getting ambushed that wouldn't go well for the two of them to wind up in a draged out battle for their lives. James was glad that Clint knew of at least one memeber of the team that was still alive and was willing to Rejoin the Avengers and the fact that it was one of their original members that was simply a bonues for him James turned and grinned slightly. "Ya that's one of the traits I picked up from hanging out with Tony and don't worry I don't go on about Inventions unless i'm thinking on something that I can improve apon or on how to get something working"

James turned and the armor made the sound of metal walking as he moved around makeing sure the robots in the ground were down for good and he was glad that they were down before he turned. "But what about you Clint are you willing to Rejoin the Avengers"

Clint chuckled a bit, maybe it wouldn't be so bad in having this guy as another Tony. Come to think of it, he was like Iron Man 2.0. Though he knew that James Rhodes had never claimed that title after taking one of Tony's suits and was named War Machine. In fact he didn't really know what happened to Rhodey after the years the Avengers were torn apart. Maybe Rhodey was just like the others, they got ripped away from Apocalypse's forces and was forced to hide. Or the worst of it, dead. He shuttered at that thought, if there was a chance Rhodey could join the Avengers with them, since they needed every person they could get a hold of these days.

"That's good." He said as his thoughts turned to the avengers. He was sick of going on the run constantly. Though he had gone through it in his past, he knew how to deal with it. But the thought of reuniting with his old friends and team mates made him happy. And that was the best way to go, with what you were happy with. "Yes I would like to rejoin the team."

"Also I don't mean to burst your bubble, but did Tony ever tell you there was another Ironman like user out there?"

James grinned slightly as he moved allowing Jarvis to check over the armors systems as this was the first time that it had seen combat since Tony's death and James rebuilding the armor and he had to admit he was impressed with how well the Armor praformed in battle he was impressed with it's Praformance. He was fairly certin that it was finaly ready for full combat missions so he could let the world know that Iron man was back and ready to give Apocalypse a black eye.

James turned to Clint and nodded his head "Yes he did and I plan on dealing with that one time allows but right now it's team building Time hawkeye"

"Yup I am." Clinton said as he finally gave in on the robots, seeing that they might be dead for good. He then strung his bow on his free shoulder and the quivers had a strap on both. Since he was human he could carry a bit more than he was used too, but knew better than to strain himself and that would conflict his archery when he needed it most. So he knew to travel light sometimes and carry only what he could handle. "Also just out of curiousity do we have a hideout or anything for the Avengers? If we're just on the move that's fine with me. I'm kind of used to that life style."

James allowed his arms to move to his side's as the Armor went back into it's backpack form so that he wouldn't be seen walking around in it when he and Clint were trying to avoid getting noticed and he nodded his head when Clint asked if he had a hide that the avengers could use. "Yes we do it's a place Tony had built in secret before all this happend and he only ever told a few people Rodey, Pepper Pots and me about it he had in made in case the Avengers ever needed to make a last Stand but I guess he died before he could gather the others their. James turned motioning for Clint to follow him so that the two of them could make their way to the hide out that could act as their base of Operations.

Clint looked over James' body getting a first full look at the young man, if anything the two almost looked similar in age. He wasn't quiet sure how old James was but wasn't going to bring up the subject now. It may have been a bit awkward as he thought about it. And he nodded to James as he spoke, "Sounds like him, always having a back up plan. And it's nice to know that we still have a base" Hawkeye added as he was close behind James to lead the way to the base. He was now starting to wonder what this place was going to look like. He was starting to doubt that it was not going to be anything like the old Avenger's tower. But who knew? Maybe they could rebuild back to their former glory like the other teams?

It didn't take long for the two to arrive at their destination and he walked into the old warehouse heading towards the back of it. The wearhouse didn't have much on the surface an old Couch and some chairs and a T.V were the only Things around but James stoped at nono of those things. James moved to what looked like the Heating unit for the building and once he got close reached around it's side pushing a hidden button that sent a signal for the Building's Computer to open the hidden Entrance. Their was a scaning Device hidden over looking the door so that no one who wasn't allowed could get in thus keeping the hidden Location safe or giveing anyone inside time to escape.

The heating Untied Opened reveling an Elavator and James steped onto it waiting for Clint to Join him. Once the young man did the Elavator began it's Descent which didn't take long and opened into a Large area. The area was easily lage enough for a full team and had everything that they might need Training room Quaters for everyone a kitchen, Labs and a Hanger that had two of their Jet's already waiting. He grinned and turned to Hawkeye "Welcome to the Armory Clinton"
